In an interview with the man behind Emotions in Frame, on the issues surrounding photography and capturing events, Hardik Gaurav shares his views.

Hardik Gaurav has been photographing people and events for many years, owning his own photography business in India and in recent years in Bristol. As a freelancer, he understands the ups and down of being in a fast-paced environment. An event in Bath to capturing a wedding in Devon, he is always seems to be here, there and everywhere. Yet, spends his days taking photographs and videos of his surroundings, the nearby nature or the views from his converted loft window.
"Covering an event which needs immediate media attention in real time is almost impossible. These days it's very affordable to have a camera and many people are coming forward to explore photography as a hobby," he explained.

Hardik believes that there should be the "chance for photography enthusiasts to showcase their talent as a documentary".
The arts are viewed by some as being less accessible to everyone, however, the ability to grab a camera and document the world is very possible indeed.
People could say that now more than ever people are involved in capturing what's around them. But why should we stay in the same lane?
The Bristol-based photographer has been began to start create peaceful videos with his soft-spoken voice over the footage reading out passages from books and thoughts on films. On Instagram, his #WordsMatterSeries highlights the beauty in life, focusing on books with thought-provoking words.
